Ive worn glasses since I was 19. Yesterday I had a cataract removed from the eye that had needed the most correction. Today I have 20/20 vision in that eye without glasses and colors are now stunning. It seems the dulling of colors is not noticeable over the years. The blue of the sky was amazing today. A cataract is a clouding of the lens.The process involves removing the natural lens and replacing it with an artificial lens which is tweaked for distance [at my option] given that Im an outdoorsie person. AND it turns out that my close-in vision is almost perfect too. Its weird to see detail at a distance.
