I’d like to take a moment to thank a few people that helped make ‘Light the Night’ the success that it was. I look forward to seeing you all there again next year! Keith ~ you are an amazing person, you have poured your heart into making Alex’s truck what it is today. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed. You are certainly someone I am proud to call my friend Brenda ~ I can’t thank you enough for letting me part of Alex’s new journey and his legacy. Your strength is an inspiration to many. I know in my heart that both Alex and Rod are beside you everyday and are proud of what you’re doing to help save others. Denice ~ My sister, My friend. I can not fathom your lose, nor do I want too. I admire your strength and love how you share it with so many. I am honored to be running Breaking the Silence and hope that I can do you and Jessie proud. Every time I see the name ‘Breaking the Silence’ I see Jessica’s beautiful smile. I know she is very proud of all what you have accomplished in her memory. Alex ~ Even though we never truly met, I am honored to be part of your memory and I pray that I can just a bit of your spunk and courage that I have heard so much about. You have touched me deep in my soul the way you have touched so many others. May you rest quietly and peacefully until the good Lord calls us all home together. Jessica ~ My dear beautiful niece… I miss you so much. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and why you had to go. I wish we would have had more time, but I know that every time I am working on something for Breaking the Silence, I feel you near. Especially those days when I am discouraged and want to give up.. I can hear your sweet voice saying “come on Auntie you got this, you can do this, you’re my Auntie”. Well Jessica Sharon, I hear you loud and clear, and I will continue to keep your memory alive through Breaking the Silence. Until our paths meet again sweety, I love you.
