“I’ll take the exotic superfoods over the artificial - TopicsExpress

“I’ll take the exotic superfoods over the artificial ingredients, thanks!” I was recently asked to compare Shakeology to a meal replacement shake that a friend was considering. While it’s really hard to compare because there really isn’t anything like Shakeology on the market, I told her I’d help her by looking into the ingredients for her. - The first red flag in reviewing this other shake product was that the very first ingredient was Soy. Processed soy is not a healthy food for so many reasons, including thyroid problems, it contains natural toxins called “anti-nutrients,” it interferes with the endocrine system, it contains substances that interfere with nutrient absorption and the supply of oxygen to the blood. - Then I went on to see that it also contains artificial sweeteners, which are known to cause headaches, cancer, and many other health issues. Plus artificial sweeteners do the opposite of help your body lose weight. - The additional artificial flavorings and too many other things I couldn’t pronounce were enough for me to know that this was not a product I’d be comfortable drinking. I reminded her of the 70+ Superfoods in Shakeology, (seriously, the entire ingredient list is ALL foods. The only reason you couldn’t pronounce something is because it’s an exotic food we haven’t heard of!) and that they’ve searched the world for these ingredients. It’s free of fillers and additives, consisting of just pure foods, including the highest quality: Proteins, Amino acids antioxidants phytonutrients adaptogens 23 vitamins and minerals pre/probiotics digestive enzymes Needless to say, with the comparison of the ingredients list alone, she went with Shakeology! Shakeology Curbs cravings Is Low Glycemic Lowers cholesterol Promotes regularily Increases energy Detoxes Improves mental clarity Is organic & non-gmo
