I’m 72 years old and there are many things in life that I have had, and experienced that I not only can’t have but it would be impossible to have again. In church today the thought came up, what would I like to have once again that isn’t possible. I was singing at the time and I have never been that good, but my mom, oh, how she could carry a tune. Mom used to do whatever was necessary to keep my brother and I at home, including feeding any of our friends that happen to be hanging out. Mom sang pretty much all day long and our friends had favorites they would ask her to sing. One of the favorite things we liked was hearing was her yodeling. She yodeled like no one I have ever heard. You have probably guessed by now what I’d like, to hear my moms singing just once for even one more song, her most popular was, The Preacher and the Bear, that’s what I’d like to hear, just once more. My question for you is what do you miss that you will never have again? At least not while you are on this earth. I know I will hear my mom sing once again, but it will be in heaven. So, if you would, just leave a couple of words of what you miss the most and would like to experience just one more time. Below is the song, The Preacher and the Bear.
