According to Mr. Probz, “Waves” was, “the first song that [he] wrote learning how to play the guitar. He says, “I got a guitar for my birthday and it’s the first thing I learned how to play. And, then I just wrote a song to it. It was a no-brainer, it just came to me. Sometimes I have songs where I work on them for a week, or two days, three days, four days, whatever.
