I’m a brother in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and have some good news for you. Now, any animosity you may feel towards Greek Life at UVM, I’m asking kindly that you put it aside because this post presents a cool opportunity for all of us. As most of you know, a recent funny video covering a serious topic featuring Seth Rogen has recently gone viral. The video emphasizes the need for Alzheimer’s research and awareness. Additionally, in the video he announced his “Hilarity for Charity” fundraising idea. The University, which can be represented by just one group, has the chance to attend a private screening of Seth’s new movie and a chance to see him at the campus Hilarity for Charity event if they raise the most money in the country. The brothers of Pike have decided to be that group to represent UVM and before even posting this for all of you to see, we proudly stand at #1 in the entire country for most money raised. Today, we will be selling tickets for $5 to our Talent Show at Ira Allen on 4/21…We have until 4/11 to maintain our lead and win this.
