I’m excited & honored to be a Finalist Judge for the upcoming 2015 Stevie Awards. The Stevie® Award trophy is one of the worlds most coveted business prizes. Since 2002 the Gold Stevie Award has been conferred for achievement in business to organizations and individuals in more than 60 nations. There are a few different categories but I will be judging one of my true passions, as a lot of you know ; ) . . . organizations that exhibit extraordinary customer service. Preliminary judging has been going on since December and will conclude this coming Monday. Then the final judging, to decide the Gold and Grand Stevie Award winners, will run for two weeks rom January 26 to Feb 6. Some past Stevie Award winners include Apple, General Electric, Abbott, Marriott, Adobe, Roche, Samsung, Proctor & Gamble, The Ford Motor Company and Toshiba Americas among many other esteemed companies. Interestingly, the name “Stevie” is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek word for crowned. The Grand Stevie is a magnificent trophy designed by the same company that makes the Clio and Emmy Awards. It is approximately 16 inches tall, and is hand-cast and finished in 24-karat gold.
