I’m excited to announce that I’m part of Team NDSS21! Our objective is to raise awareness and funds for the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) by participating in endurance events between September and November 2013. Personally, I’ll be running another marathon (Marine Corps to be exact) and collectively the twenty other team members and I are dedicated to raise $21,000. There are 21 of us on Team NDSS21 as “21” is symbolic of the extra copy of the 21st chromosome in trisomy 21, the most common form of the condition. We’ve individually committed to raise $1,000 or more for NDSS and I’m confident we’ll exceed our goal and hope that you’d kindly consider supporting me and/or spread the word for this wonderful cause. Whether it’s a dollar or simply sharing my page via the various social media options available, your support is very much appreciated!
