I’m going to teach a class of 15 to 20 boys 16-20 years of age. A young man of 17 gives me this advice: - You have to be firm. The minute you walk into the class they assess you and decide on your fate. - Be consistent. If you say you’ll fail him, fail him. - Be careful walking downstairs. The stairs are thin and narrow, and there are 500 kids in that school, most of them boys, so short thin people like you get lost in the crowd, pushed and squeezed, they fall down and …. you know. What do you think? Should I fear for my life?
