I’m not a big fan of end-of-year lists, endless end-of-year retrospectives, bucket lists, “best-of” lists, lists of resolutions or absolutions, Days of Future Passed Lists, or, how I’ll get off my ass lists. Just give me each moment of each day, and as my 5 year old life-affirming granddaughter taught me, “Just make it your own, Grampy.” When I look up and see my two granddaughters, I know I have already arrived in Heaven or Nirvana or any form of Paradise, because where else would I encounter two such Angels, and an endless wellspring of love and life....
