I’m not going to lie. I’m really nervous today. The river is about one foot below breaking its banks and moving swiftly. There is standing water in several of the parking lots downtown. Sandbags are out in abundance. Not a tourist was to be seen this morning, which is VERY unusual. And the locals are totally on edge. Making nerves more frayed is the large, slow-moving storm cell sitting right over Larimer County. I know my niece is in flooded areas already. Lyons is getting hammered again. Everyone at work is cracking jokes and there’s a lot of nervous laughter. Anything to break the tension. Going to be a long day for sure.
