I’m not one to speak ill of the elderly, however this story is one that can send my BP soaring. Ex Prime Minister Julia Gillard gives $7 million for a grant to restore the Female Orphan School building on the University of Western Sydney’s Parramatta campus. The building would become the home of the Whitlam Institute and the renovation would include a museum, library, lecture rooms and an art gallery to honour our 21st prime minister. I suppose Whitlam can be ever grateful to Julia because she took his title of worst Prime Minister away from him, every problem this country has today can be taken back to Whitlam, he was sacked and rightly so, his proposed deal with his loan shark friend was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back, however at least Gough was elected more than I can say for her.
