I’m not sure the 4th Annual Marine Corps Challenge could have been any better. It felt like a bunch of people getting together for a big WOD party. The energy was off the charts…….awesome and fun! Heartfelt appreciation to the companies who donated to the challenge: FitAID, Affiliate Guard, SICFIT, Rx Jump Ropes, Life as Rx, Primal Pacs, Stronger Faster Healthier, Concept2, Skins, Hylete, Xendurance, The Lighthouse, Engine Joes and Vemma. The event moved like a well-oiled machine thanks to all of the people who selflessly donated their time to make it happen. Gifford, Kristen, Lisa, Luna, Rigo, Mo, Kurt, Nate, Ben, Ginger, Jeni, Suzette, Mikey-D, Nancy M, Kaelin, Jess, Bob, Jake, Nancy T, Jeremy and Chad. To the Desert CrossFit athletes that competed: Octavio, Chris, Lenny Megan, Lisa, David, Albert, Ayana, Theresa, Erin, Nahdja and Stefanie... You are amazing, powerful badasses…….and I am SO proud of you!!!! Thank you RSS Palm Desert, Foundry CrossFit, CrossFit Palm Springs and CrossFit Covert. We couldn’t have asked for better people and athletes to share the day with! And let’s not forget the beautiful weather….the BBQ……the mountain of donated toys……Karen’s cake..…the killer music….and a gym charged with electric energy and smiling faces. It was an EXCELLENT day benefiting a great cause……filled with inspiring people brought together to do something we all love. Already looking forward to next year………. -Cheryl
