I’m not too sure on who is kidding who here, I seriously thought John Bjelke-Petersen would have more brains than this but it just goes to show there are some people who can’t face reality. John tried twice to run in his father’s old seat of Nanango for the Nationals but was unsuccessful. Mr Bjelke-Petersen also ran against Peter Slipper in the seat of Fisher at the 1996 federal election but lost. He had another go at federal politics in 2013 as a PUP candidate for the Maranoa electorate only to lose to LNP MP Bruce Scott. Hint John I don’t think the people want you.
