I’m sick. Sick to my Stomach. Sick of what this city is - TopicsExpress

I’m sick. Sick to my Stomach. Sick of what this city is becoming. And what’s becoming of us is we no longer care. Crab mentalities are common, and those that have a little something… got they nose in the air. We got nothing more to spare. We as a people no longer share. Saying I gotta look out for me, or “It aint my fault, favor aint fair!” And sharing just isn’t the dollars and cents. How about sharing with the lost those things that make sense. And nowadays sense aint so common, So again I’m sick, Sick to my Stomach As we sit and slowly watch a future generation die, Sorrow has become an extinct emotion, ..we no longer cry. More so we shy, Shy away from those that’s dealing with the pain. Hit em with a misquoted scripture, “yall loss is heavens gain… But what about when that loved one may be going to hell? What part of the Bible then do we choose to tell? We crawl in a shell and let nature just take its course. Part of the reason they are dying, and they live with no remorse…… So, now I’m more sick. Sick as I look at the bullet hole that entered my kitchen wall. That bullet could’ve been the death of we, so grateful I didn’t fall. Yet still we all fall, cuz we aint standing for nothing. Unless you’re benefiting from it, getting broke off a little something. Shootings happening daily in our community, but we act like nothing’s wrong. Chalk it up as another act of violence til that tragedy hits home.
