I’ve always had an appreciation for people who tell it the way it is, and speak their mind freely. Sam Holden was one of those guys – a really good photographer, but an even better person. I just learned about his passing here on FB, and it immediately made me both sad & angry. Sam will be missed by many, for many reasons. Sam & I share the same birthday, so I’ll be sure toast him each year - a guy who did things his way, and seemed to be having a helluva time doing it.
