I’ve had Google Glass for a week now. For starters I love the “get directions” feature. I raise my head 30 degrees so that it turns on, say “OK Glass”, “Get directions” and then tell it where I want to go. It finds it and tells me how to get there – not much different than your GPS but still cool. I like reading and responding to text messages and email verbally. You have to add contacts to the Glass – it pulls them from your Google address book but you have to add each one. I’m not sure if I like this or not. I only added seven people who I contact regularly from my family and office. I tried to send a picture from Glass to someone via text and it told me I had to add contacts to Glass when I had those seven contacts already in there so that is a small glitch. Other things I like – watching Kristen and Blaine’s faces as they have used it. Blaine searching for “Orange” and “Bananas” on Google. Kristen searching for some Harry Potter question. Seeing the pictures and videos they took from Glass has also been entertaining. I recently added “Glassware” so maybe I’ll be able to share a bit on that next week. No promises. google/glass/start/
