I’ve just realised I forgot to post this week’s catch report from Monday - apologies everyone! A very big thank you to all the lads who came up for the National Fire Service Carp Championship match – fished on Sunny 1 and Sunny 2 over 48hrs last Tuesday / Wednesday. Results were 12 fish in total - 23 + 22 + 2 x 19 + 16 + 15 + 6 x 14 1st place from peg 12 on S2 with 61lbs 12 oz and Biggest Fish from S2 at 23lbs 2oz. All the lads were true gentlemen and it was a pleasure to see them all again. Big thanks to Steve and Ant and also to David Rees for organising the match and raffle. There was another private match on S1 this weekend - The Magna lads and there were 3 main catches - Pecks at 30lbs - which is a really good pre winter weight considering when she came out a month ago she weighed 27lbs. S2 is still the best producing water but River lake really woke up this weekend with the majority of the weekly report coming from pegs 1,2, and 3 over just 36hrs!
