J Clifford, problem acknowledged. The Green Party needs to get 435 good Green Party candidates on the ballot in 2014. The 5-week voter petitioning period for this in NY begins in March. We also need to eject bad Green Party leaders who seem as if they are working hard at keeping good Green Party candidates off the ballot - as if they are getting paid money to do that - and are instead running the same old same old perennial loser candidates (often corrupt) again & again & again. We need Green Party leaders who can take the lead in identifying 435 good Green Party candidates in advance & who will help 435 good Green Party candidates get on the ballot on all 435 Congressional ballots in 2014. Voter disgust with the corporate parties is at an all time high & the issues are more important than ever: the environment, social justice, the economy, jobs, crime, safety, education, healthcare, transportation, wages, benefits, freedom, liberty & more. To J Gifford, thank you very much for your belated mention of the obvious elephant in the room problem that has been the Green Party here in the USA for too long. To all real Greens, lets find 435 good Green Party candidates for US Congress now & lets make sure they are on the ballot in 2014. Here in New York, this is 27 good Green Party candidates to recruit & to get on the ballot in March 2014 .. and to help them to campaign to win throughout 2014. To all real Greens, we also need to get rid of corrupt pretend green leaders who are too cowardly - or too corrupt - to take the lead in recruiting good Green Party candidates, and we need to recruit good Green Party leaders who are willing to take the lead on such a basic core requirement for any political party (i.e. having candidates on the ballot for voters to select). So far, only Don Hassig in Northern New York has announced that he is willing to be a Congressional Green Party candidate in 2014 & Don IS one of the Greenest Greens in all of New York State. 26 more good Green Party candidates urgently needed ASAP here in New York for Election 2014! Anyone who is willing to be a candidate, who is relatively honest & who IS a better alternative to corporate party candidates, please message, comment or email greenpartycandidate2014@gmail - it is 100% up to the voters to decide who is and who is not on the ballot, you absolutely do not need the permission of corrupt pretend green leaders to be a candidate on the ballot. The 4 Pillars of the Green Party includes grassroots democracy, for those of us who have forgotten this fact. Together we can make a clean environment, social justice & a good economy for all happen.
