J Everywhere I turned I saw dullness smile; She waived from every corner, charming me with her empty promises and false reverie. I hugged loneliness in the cold days, Holding hands with torment and misery as I celebrated an affair with mediocrity; Prior to you, I was a rotten shadow of black and gray, spitting failure, ready to go away. Hello, You said in that brief moment of confluence; Was that in the hallways of corporate glitz? I thought it was in heaven. You smiled and all dullness run away; You shook my hand and I blushed in the innocent brush of warmth You whispered your name and colors glittered from everywhere My name is "J" and met my gaze, your eyes spoke of wonders. I saw sheer beauty I thought you were a fairy. Finally, the fingers of sunlight shoved away all darkness. Life breathed into my soul. Love came along. Steady, We went. It was felicity all along; Our conversations was fecund of intellectual soberity, Everytime, I gawked at the beauty that was you - a woman of the world. You were effervescent with tenderness and sincerity, Clad in strength and yet delicate for me. I love you. Farewell, It grips my heart with the knowledge of us taking separate lives How can heaven be emphemeral? As I imagine you packing your bag and stepping away, it seems something will be stolen from me My light, my life, my love. You said you are pursuing your dream. But will you blame me if I pursue you?
