JAH PRAYZAH & SULU CHIMBETU BARRED FROM VISITING UK The British Immigration has revoked the visas and WORKPERMITS for Zimbabwean artists sungura star Sulu Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah who were scheduled to perform in UK this weekend. A British immigration officer last night stopped the artists from boarding Emirates flight to London via Dubai and asked them to report to the British EMBASY in Harare this morning where their visas were cancelled. Reasons given by the UK Border Agency was that the well known reputable agent used by the promoters Y2K to apply for their permits has been suspended pending investigations on the operations of that particular agent. Its terrible news for music lovers in UK, once again the promoters did everything possible to host the tour but the system let them down big time! There is no way we can allow this to happen to our innocent musicians, the inconvenience caused to them, the fans and promoters who put so much effort and the uncaring immigration just put a full stop.
