JAMB(UTME): A Herculean Task Ahead. Over the years, majority of the students of this country, Nigeria, most especially our state in particular, Nasarawa, have so much believed that examination malpratice is the only way to having success in examinations. A reader who is wiser can predict where i am heading to, but for he who seems to be #zombiezy, will give me a wrong interpretation. It is true, that for the past 2years students have been finding the Unified tiary matriculation exams (UTME);(JAMB) results so unfavourable. This, however, came as result of brain-washing by my colleagues who have regarded reading for examinations as forbbiden, and wasting of time. They always say the JAMB exam is just about shading and go without even looking at the questions minutely; it is luck from God! And this God(Allah) is not a self God. In Suratul Al-qalam(verse:35-36), Allah says Afa najalul muslimina kalmujrimin? Ma lakum kaifa tahkumun: Do you expect us to treat the righteous and the lazy-wrong doers equally? What is the matter with you; how judge you? As an experienced contender of jamb for the past two years, i can rebutt that say of shading and go, but i dont know for others. Generally, the fact remains that when you read you pass if you dont you fail. Examinations can just be of luck to you when most of the questions come from the area you concentrated at reading period. Lastly, the only thing i have to advise the present 2014/2015 JAMBITES is to quickly go to the market, get the past questions and answers of the prescribed UTME combinations, study them meticulously, give them your time if really youre determined to take the bull by the horns and pray for the questions to appear easier.
