JAMES HENRY RUSSELLS OBSERVATION IN WASHINGTON DC. I spent Sunday through Tuesday in Washington D.C. working to recruit more work to Red River Army Depot and training at the TC@TexAmericas Center located on TexAmericas Property directly beside Red River Army Depot where we do welding, diesel mechanics, core academic classes, and national training for CAT and other defense contractors. I was amazed at how many Active Generals, former Generals, defense contractors, and other top decision makers from around the United States came up to those of us there from Texarkana to talk about Judge Carlow. They told stories from the past of all that he had done to save Red River Army Depot in the last two BRACS, fight for the five thousand jobs that are there today, and keep the over two billion dollar annual economic impact coming to this community. We are so lucky to have community leaders like Judge Carlow that have given so much of their life to help this area flourish and stay strong. It certainly told me how important it is for us to be involved at the national level and to have strong community leaders that are thinking much more about the future than the present or past. Judge Carlow certainly has done that for all of us.
