JAMMU, January 03: Police Headquarters (PHQ) today issued promotion orders of four Sub-Inspectors and two Assistant Sub-Inspectors, besides In-situ promotions of 25 Inspectors in the Executive Cadre. The Sub-Inspectors promoted as Inspectors are Kamal Kumar, Mohammad Sadeeq, Gulzar Mohammad and Anil Kumar. The Assistant Sub-Inspectors promoted to the rank of Sub- Inspector are Jasvir Kour and Sehdev Singh. In-situ promotions were also ordered in favour of 25 Inspectors, which include Shamsher Singh, Arvind Kotwal, Sukdev Singh, Harish Choudhary, Paramvir Singh, Mohammad Abdullah, Sartaj Ahmad, Mohammad Rafi, Abdul Rashid, Qazi Syed Mehmood, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Hamid Dar, Abdul Hamid, Abdul Rashid, Nissar Hussain, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Ashok Singh, Himat Singh, Shabir Ahmad, Tahir Hussain, Sajad Ahmad, Manjeet Singh, Farooq Hussain, Mohammad Abbas and Mohammad Amin. Promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held earlier at PHQ under the chairmanship of Director General of Police, K. Rajendra Kumar. He has congratulated the promoted personnel and asked them to serve with more zeal and zest. He has stressed upon them to rededicate themselves for public service. Mr. Rajendra said that the department would take efforts to create promotion avenues for all ranks of the force. Vacancies in the department would be fulfilled on priority, said the DGP. He asked the officers to update the service records of all officials so that the promotions are made in time.
