JANUARY 23, 2015- ALL THINGS ARE YOURS -Excerpt from GIVE US THIS DAY-You cant believe and grieve at the same time nor can you hum Amazing Grace and worry at the same time, declares Nona Freeman. Oh that the scales of carnality could somehow be removed from our vision so that we could realize the vastness of our spiritual possessions! The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18) We often quote from the following verse: Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him (I Corinthians 2:9) This appears to describe unobtainable knowledge, but the next verse ushers in our privileges: But God hath revealed them unto us by His spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God (I Corinthians 2:10) All things are ours! -The unsearchable riches of Christ; -Revelations of Gods deep secrets; -Edification and miracles; -The wonders of the world; -The present and the future; -Life, with all its problems and possibilities; -And finally death is ours, not as an intruder, but as a guide to lead us from the veil of flesh to everlasting blessedness and beauties prepared by Eternal Love. This knowledge should put a spring in our step, a lift in our voice, and a sparkle in our eye. We are not aimless wanderers, for we are the endowed recipients of all that surrounds us, and we take the possession joyfully in the name of Jesus, our King. Yes, all things are ours! Why? We are special to Him! Jesus grant me spiritual eyes to see, All the earths beauty surrounding me, Give me spiritual lips and Ill spread, The Jesus name gospel to the entire world. Jesus, let my hands be tender, like yours, That my touch will renew and restore. Grant me these things and then Ill share, Compassion, mercy, praise and prayer! All these, Jesus said, I already impart, They are found when I live within your heart. Because the enemy is a hunter stalking his game well And will stop at nothing to take souls to hell. The enemy knows every lure to use for bait, So shake the lure before it is too late. Hell has a trophy rack and the stories it will tell, Of all the souls hunted and trapped into hell. So be careful my brother, do not delay, So you wont be a trophy in hell on display! ...............................................................................................
