JB Watched It For You: Crisis (NBC Sundays; premiered yesterday) - I almost want to recommend this hot mess: its so utterly ridiculous, it nearly manages to turn the corner from awful to awesomely bad. I wont even bother to explain the plot, since its a malleable as Play Doh anyway. The sheer ludicrousness is better served by an EXCLAMATION POINT list instead. Dermot Mulroneys hairpiece! Revelations out of left field! Gillian Anderson in a part that practically epitomizes slumming it/paycheck cashing. A plot pieced together from 24, Hostages, and 90s classic Toy Soldiers! Random terrible but affable actors getting work like the hot Australian chick from Transformers and Nathan Scott from One Tree Hill! The worst teen drama and dialogue since the 90210 reboot! It almost sounds fun, and the incoherence nearly blinds the viewer to the awful. But it is awful. PASS
