JBPHH Update: Iselle Stalls--JBPHH cautions residents to remain indoors and stay vigilant As of 0930, 8 AUG, Tropical Storm Iselle continues to stall on the Big Island of Hawaii. JBPHH remains in TCCOR 4 and under a Tropical Storm Warning. Main storm winds are not expected to arrive for JBPHH until late afternoon or early evening. JBPHH remains at essential personnel reporting to work only for today, 8 AUG. The JBPHH EOC is actively monitoring the storm and will provide updates as needed. Personnel should remain indoors, stay off the roads and exercise extreme caution during peak storm periods. There are currently NO plans for evacuations at JBPHH housing areas at this time. An emergency family assistance center has NOT been activated at this time. Immediate updates will be posted on the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Facebook and recorded on the JBPHH StraightTalk line at (808) 421-4000. To avoid high system demand, use your cell phone for emergency calls only and text when possible. To report hazards to property, roads or utilities, call the NAVFAC Hawaii emergency desk at (808) 449-3100/3101 or the JBPHH EOC, (808) 448-2583/3262/3101.
