JCC to observe Oct 10 as solidarity Day Use black bands as a mark of protest Srinagar, Oct 8, CNS: Joint Consultative Committee leadership held an important meeting in Srinagar on Tuesday. The participants unanimously decided that the ongoing movement will be taken to its logical end and expressed their serious concern over the prolonged detention of their various leaders and employees who have been detained by the Government without any justification. One of the JCC leaders told CNS that during the meeting it was resolved that October 10 (Thursday) shall be observed as solidarity day to express complete solidarity with the detained employees and it was decided that all the 4.5 lakh employees would use black ribbons as a mark of protest during the office hours. JCC leadership appealed all the employees to ensure their participation in the programme and make it a success. (CNS)
