JCCB#3 is delighted to welcome Steven Low Thia Kwang from Singapore, a well known ceramist who has accumulated 23 years of experience in ceramic field , to pursue the Artist in Residence program-a sub-program of the biennale-, to work in Tanteri Ceramic Studio (est. 1988), located in Pejaten, Tabanan, Bali, about 33 Km from Denpasar. Low, will be working at Tanteri studio from June 2 to June 20, 2014, to create artworks that will be exhibited in the National Gallery of Indonesia, from September 23 to October 13, 2014. As there are 3 sections of artistic tendency-art, design, and craft/pottery- for this biennale, his artwork will be included in the Ceramic Design section. We are proud to present Amontherp Mahamart (Thailand) and Kristina Rutar (Slovenia) to work in Bayat Village, Klaten, Central Java, also Sarah Younan (UK) to work at Faculty of Art and Design-Bandung Institute of Technology (FSRD-ITB), West Java.
