JEE Advanced 2013 Result OUT-For first time in history two girls under top 10 list!! The result was supposed to declare on 23rd June but it was declared today at 5.00 pm, two days ahead of its scheduled time. For the very first time in history two girls have secured rank under top 10 this year.One from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, AIR (All India Rank) 6th and another one from Tirupati , Andhra Pradesh, AIR- 8th. “This is the first time in IIT’s history that we have women in the top-10 of the merit list,” says Prof H C Gupta, organising chairman, JEE (Advanced)-2013, Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. Total number of students appeared– 1.5 Lakh, Total number of qualified candidates– 21,110, Total number of seats available– 9885, Total number of women– 2,392, Total number of men– 18,718.
