JENNIFER UPDATE 31 Tonight I caught a glimpse of my Wife for the first time in weeks. It was only brief but enough to touch a cord of joy deep, deep within me. Yes, she was back on a drip, yes she was confused, yes she had no mobility, but when you have been married for almost 48 years there is some sort of knowing. Doctors and nurses would not have seen it but Peter did as he stood beside me by the bed. No I am not getting carried away and the journey will still be long but tomorrow I can visit and know that I still have a wife who, maybe, one day will be home by my side once more.
