JENNIFER UPDATE 35 A lot has been going on in the background and I have been reluctant to post until some issues were cleared. Jennifer is into the second week at the Intermediate Centre in Sheldon. Having been probably the very first transplant client, it has taken a while for it to dawn on the staff. Now she is in a much better situation and making good progress. On Friday she was told she did not have to report to the Transplant Clinic for another two weeks. This afternoon she had a visit from a consultant who is pleased with her progress. She has added some weight and is starting to mobilise a little more. Two areas give at little concern. The large amount of medication has given rise to sickness but now seems more under control and her left arms gets puffy which is thought to be caused by the fistula, the old site of 6yrs needling. The is reading her kindle, looking through cards and magazines. What a turn around this is. We are very encouraged. Thank you for all your support. Bill and Jennifer.
