JESSICAS WEEKLY EMAIL It is hot here! But, thats okay! My Dad, asked me what I was going to do for my birthday tomorrow, and I said, I get to teach the gospel in Brazil. There is nothing cooler than that. Did try sticking our heads in the freezer one day, didnt help much. Not to complain because we get to have popsicles! This week I received my Christmas Package from my family!! They sent me snow! I couldnt have asked for a better gift. In this package were eight hand written letters and a picture of each and every one of my family members. When I saw them I just bawled my eyes out. haha My family means so much to me. They have no idea how awesome they are! The Package they sent was just filled with goodies! I dont even know how they filled it so tightly. My mom must be practicing her tetras skills. In one letter, sent from my brother greg, was this quote,You can always count the seeds in an apple, but you can´t count the apples in a seed. This is so true. It is truer than true. A lot of times as a missionary I feel as if I am planting seeds to help others hear about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And then those people will plant their own seeds. I love this part of my life where I get to make a difference. Planting seeds is a critical part to missionary work and I am so incredibly happy to do this work! Everyday is a new opportunity to help someone come unto Christ. This past Sunday the Bishop asked me to speak in Sacrament meeting. I hear my Brother Steven will be doing the same thing, except I will attempt to speak the 25th of January in Portuguese to all of these Brazilions about member missionary work. Oh my lanta I hope they understand me... One thing I want to talk about is that planting seeds (friendship) is just as important as anything else in this great work! I am beyond excited to butcher every word I say up at the pulpit! Sorry this email is short! I love you all more than Brazilians love rice, beans and acai!
