JESUS AND HIS RELATIVES WERE SO BUSY WORKING EVEN DURING THEIR MEALS Mk 3:20-21 Jesus came with his disciples into the house. Again the crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat. When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him, for they said,He is out of his mind. These two verses summarize for us how Jesus day is filled, how Jesus is sought by the people, and how much work he and his disciples have to do. They are so busy that they have no time to eat. For many, especially Jesus critics as well as his relatives, this is a bad sign. They think he is out of his mind. For Jesus, instead, there is so much to do and no time to lose; every opportunity is precious and must be taken advantage of. Many of us complain about our busy or hectic schedules. In fact, some take their meals on the run or at work, and some others skip meals just to beat deadlines. A few rethink their working conditions and eventually shift to less demanding jobs. I know of someone who was a succesful employee in a big company but whose life seemed like hell. He decided to quit and shift to culinary arts.
