‘JESUS BLOOD SPEAKS BETTER THINGS Posted on Sep 23, 2013 “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 4:10 Don’t you find today’s text very interesting? God said that the voice of Abel’s blood cried out to Him from the ground. It was in response to that cry that God confronted Cain and punished Him. But think of it for a moment – Abel’s blood spoke! What did it speak? It cried out for vengeance! But now, we are told that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel (see Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Jesus also speaks! What does it speak? The bible says that we overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). The blood of Jesus is the word of our testimony: it speaks the testimony of our triumph over Satan, sin and sickness by the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross. Jesus’ blood cries out for Justification and righteousness. He was bruised for our transgressions and iniquities; He bore our sins in His own body on the cross, so that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). The blood of Jesus is an advocate of Grace, hallelujah! PRAY THIS Thank you dear God for the blood of Jesus that pronounces my testimonies always. I choose to always believe this.
