JESUS IN THE TEMPLE Every year at the festival of Passover, all Jewish men went to visit the temple in Jerusalem to pray and give thanks to God. During the festival of Passover, when Jesus was 12 years old, He became separated from His parents. When Mary and Joseph found Him in the temple, Jesus was deep in discussion with a group of Jewish priests and leaders. Jesus even asked questions that most people never think to ask. He has been given them answers too. Jesus had begun to realize He had a special relationship with God.
