JESUS and the Advocate. The Message of Islam. “If you love me, keep my commands. Jesus demands your love. Muhammad also demanded his followers love. He said, You are not a true believer until you love me more than your own self. But what does love mean: Keep my commands, says Jesus. Follow my Sunnah (my way) says Mohammed, peace be upon him. What will Jesus do in return for your love? And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. Jesus is the Word. He is the way, the truth and the light. Is he not the Spirit of truth manifest. Yet he is the advocate of his time, and he will ask God to send ANOTHER advocate. What, or who, is this other advocate? You would have it is The Holy Ghost. Is this the same Holy Ghost who was sent to announce Jesus begetting, and whose power was over Mary when the seed who was Jesus was created in her womb. It seems to me, the Holy Ghost was around already, coexistant with Jesus, so who is this other advocate who WILL come ONLY when I AM GONE? — the Spirit of truth. Can the Spirit be manifested by a man? Of course. he can. All prophets are inspired, and all are the Spirit of Truth. All that they do, and all that they say is from God. The Spirit is what inspires. But, if the advocate is the Spirit of Truth, then Jesus is the Spirit of Truth because he is the advocate, too. So why is he saying he has to go before he comes? Maybe God sends the Spirit of Truth as one man in his time... I dont really have an answer. So lets just take Jesus word for it. After all, hes Gods Word. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. Again, Jesus came as the Spirit of Truth. Was he accepted by those he was sent to, the children of Israel? You know, as well as I, that they intended to kill him, that they accuse him of being Josephs bastard, that they deny he is the Messiah. Even the Disciples had difficulty in seeing him. If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Jesus bewails their obtuseness. But, although the world sees him not, some people did, and believed. The Disciples themselves. And remember, the disciples are the branches that bear fruit, so there will be others, following generation by generation. There were people, Christians, awaiting the prophesied advocate in the time of Mohammed, peace be upon him, labelled heretics by the modern Christian Church but calling themselves Christians. There were not very many of them, either, as we know from the Story of Salman the Persian. He only found two renowned scholars who directed him rightly so that he recognized Mohammed when he saw him by their description. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. Physically in them, or Spiritually in them? Inspiring them in their hearts from within, or inspiring them from the memory of their teachers words? I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. One of the first verses that Mohammed. peace be upon him, was inspired with, soon after the verses of the Clot that signified his calling, Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor hates you; and indeed the hereafter is better for you than the present; and, verily, your Lord will give you all good so that you will be well pleased. Did he not find you an orphan, and give you refuge? He found you unaware, and guided you; and found you poor and enriched you. Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression; nor repulse the beggar. And proclaim the Grace of your Lord! When a Christian hermit, Waraqah, was informed of the revelations Mohammed was receiving, he said, This is the one who keeps the secrets (the angel Gabriel) whom Allah sent to the prophets beforehand. ... Anyone who came with something similar to that which you have brought was greeted with hostility; and if I remain alive until the day you will be turned out, then I would support you strongly. Even before he received any revelation, a monk called Bahira recognized Mohammed as the one prophesied by Jesus by his birth mark - the same way Salman the Persian checked his authenticity when he went to see him on his arrival in Medina. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. We know the world are the rejecters of Jesus, but who is You. The disciples, only? or the disciples and their fruit; their true, healthy fruit? The next chapter relates the parable of the vine and sits between the two main chapters of the advocate. Because I live, you also will live. There is a double meaning, here. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, at least to his followers. He says, The words that I speak are the Spirit, and they are the Life (John 7:63). Jesus is alive to them because the Life, the Spirit, his words are in them. And because they live by his words, so they are the inheritors of eternal life. But he is alive in another way. God took him and lifted him to himself alive, and he will return at the end of time. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. What day is that? The day the will see him again. What day is that? The day they are resurrected. What day is that? The day they will see their reward, for: Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” Then Judas said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” Again, is this us just the disciples, or anyone who follows the teaching of Jesus? Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me WILL OBEY MY TEACHING. But when will they see him again? My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Is that the Kingdom he is talking about? Is that paradise, heaven, or what? Whose home will they share? Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. So they wont get to see me or the Father (God) of share in our home. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. Not the words of Jesus. The words of the Father. HMMM. “All this I have spoken while still with you. All what I say applies to you guys and your fruit, At least until the other advocate comes. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things ALL THINGS. Didnt Jesus teach them all things? He said, I have many things to tell you yet, BUT YOU CANNOT BEAR THEM now, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you to ALL TRUTH. (John 16:12-13) and will remind you of everything I have said to you. The messages of the Prophets are all the same. God does not change. So whovever hears the revelation of Muhammed, peace be upon him, rightly, will be reminded. One of the names given to the Quran is the Reminder. In Surah al Qasas, such people are described, speaking through the Quran, Allah says, Indeed now We have conveyed the Word to them in order that they may remember; those to whom We gave the scripture before it, they believe in it. And when it is recited to them, they say, We believe in it. Verily, it is the Truth from our Lord. Indeed, even before it, we have been Muslims. These will be given their reward twice because they are patient, repelling evil with good, and spending (in charity) out of what We provided them with. And when they hear vain talk, they withdraw from it and say, To us our deeds, and to you, your deeds. Peace be to you. We seek not the company of the ignorant. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Shalom. Surrender. Peace. Islam, Muslim. I do not give to you as the world gives. (Not the peace of earthly truce, but True Peace from God - Islam). Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. And so do I admonish you, oh Christians. Embrace Peace! “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. Ahh. Those rooms he will prepare in his fathers mansions! When is that? When will he return? At the end of time. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. Told them what? About his return at te end of time, or about another advocate and the reminder? I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. At the end of time, the Anti Christ, the Dajjal, will claim the world is his Kingdom. He has no hold over me, but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. Indeed, he will begin to melt when Jesus returns. And the reminder of Jesus and his sayings will be remembered and acknowledged as all people bow in submission when he comes to rule the Kingdom of God before the final Day. Will the Christians of that time repent? Will they turn? Will they recognize the Truth when it is apparent. The Quran says so: And there is none of the people of the book but must believe in him (Jesus) before his death; And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them. So, indeed, for you, he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Unless you settle for double the reward.
