JFA Yachts has the pleasure to announce that Zeepaard has won the Voyager’s Award 2014 at the World Superyachts Awards during the ceremony held last 3rd of may in Amsterdam. Zeepaard, designed by Vripack, has been delivered in 2003 by JFA Yachts as Axantha I. This explorer vessel really did an amazing trip ! She realised a full world tour following the Equator and going West. The yacht spent 3 years and 3 months sailing from Nice to Nice, visited 39 countries, sailed 50,000 miles. The owner, along with his family and friends, encountered incredible experiences everywhere they went, even in the rather more adventurous ‘pirate zones’, for which they were well prepared. This was a notable voyage of exactly the type for which expedition yachts were designed, and the award’s judges considered it most worthy of a Neptune award. Frédéric JAOUEN, the CEO of JFA Yachts, was present at the award ceremony and congratulated the Owner. JFA Yachts is proud to have build this yacht but moreover is proud to have contributed such owner’s dreams. Zeepaard is now for sale as the owner decided to build a bigger boat. zeepaard.cc World tour program : 2009 – Malta, Tunesia, France, Monaco, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey 2010 – Turkey, Greece, Malta, Tunesia, Italy, France (Corsica), Spain, Gibraltar, St Martin, St Barths, British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos Islands, Bahamas, USA (Florida) 2011 – Cuba, Panama, San Blas, Galapagos Islands, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Niue, Tonga, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, 2012 – Malaysia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Tunesia, Italy, France, Spain
