JILY HC: “Rosteeruper headbump” James said with a firm nod looking quite solemn. His Friend Moony looked up from his book at that “did you hit head Prongs” he asked kindly in a tone often used with little children James looked surprised “no why?” “no reason” Moony went back to his book; as he had suspected his friends were now crazy and saying things that made no sense so he, moony would not interfere. Plus Lily Evans would be coming soon and if they continued to act crazy she would get matters into hand pretty quickly. And that made him smile. As predicted the door opened revealing a rather hassled looking redhead. She stormed in, a murderous look on her face and glared at the boys. The boys looked at each other nervously wondering which one of them were in trouble. “JAMES POTTER!” she yelled solving the mystery rather quickly. Padfoot looked happy and settled into his seat comfortably trying to watch the show about to take place. “er” James stood up looking a ridiculous amount of anxious in front of someone who was seven inches shorter than him “yes Lils” “Do not lils me!” she exclaimed “you stood me up! You were supposed to meet me half an hour ago and you didn’t! James you are so incredibly irresponsible! How is anyone supposed to rely on you if you do this!? I can’t believe you! And you expect me to trust you? Why on earth would I be so ridiculous to give chance after chance if you keep acting like…-“ “marry me”James said looking at her rant Lily paused “what?” she asked eyes wide James smiled and knelt down in front of her “Marry me” he repeated “I want to marry you Lily Evans. I love you, I love it when you work, when you laugh and your eyes twinkle, I love it when your nervous and you start biting your hair, I love it when you stop me from killing myself, I love it when you scream at me, I love you. I want to spend every last bit of my life with you….so…please…marry me?” his smile became a bit more nervous at the end of his speech and behind him, his three friends had their mouths wide open. Lily stared at him “i…James…you…this…” James fumbled in his pocket and pulled out a small box. Gently pushing it open he whispered “I wanted to give this to you since the day you screamed at me for the first time, Lil don’t worry, we belong together…don’t overthink it…just say what you wanna say” Lily smiled, her eyes watering up as she slowly nodded “okay…okay …yes James I will marry you” James smiled and slid the ring on her finger as he kissed her. they looked at each other smiling until “DIBS ON BEST MAN POSITION!!” “SHUT UP PADFOOT!” …fin…. ~Admin Wulfric
