Armando Night - the improv sensation that is taking JHB by storm! Youve seen and loved improv shows on television, like Whose Line is It Anyway? and Saturday Night Live, but If youve never seen improv live...this is the way to experience it. The Jittery Citizens, South Africas hottest improv troupe, are performing in Armando Night, the most unique improv format South African Audiences have ever seen. Armando Night (also known as the Armando Diaz Experience) is a long-form improvisation format originally made famous by improv greats such as Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, in which a monologist tells personal stories that provides the inspiration for the resulting scenes. This hilarious format is now being performed exclusively in Jozi by the Jittery Citizens every month at The Market Theatre Complex in Newtown Johannesburg. Celebrity monologists have included top South African comedians and performers namely Ashley Dowds, Jason Goliath, Bevan Cullinan, Tumi Morake and Mark Banks.
