JKAP-12th Bn celebrates 141st Annual Police Raising Day: ZEWAN, JUNE 20: The J&K Armed Police 12th Battalion Zewan today organized 141st Annual Police Raising Day Celebration 2014 at APC Zewan, in which 20 students of Government Boys School Balhama and Alhuda Islamic Public School Pantha Chowk along with staff members took part. A debate competition on the topic Importance of Sports followed by a rapid fire Quiz was organized in which the students participated. The function was presided over by Commandant JKAP-12th Battalion Mr. Baqar Samoon. The welcome address was given by Mr. Baqar Samoon. He welcomed the guests & school children and gave a brief detail about the importance of Sports. Sofi Abdul Majid of Alhuda Islamic Public School Pantha Chowk bagged the 1st position, Shah Bilal of Alhuda Islamic Public School Pantha Chowk stood runner-up and Asif Ali of Government Boys School Balhama was declared 3rd. During the function, stationery items and refreshment were distributed among the students of Alhuda Islamic Public School Pantha Chowk and Govt. Boys School Balhama.
