JM Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere........God has placed within every person a desire for justice. In our fallen sinful natures that justice is not always done correctly or fittingly but the desire is there. We were created in the image of God, and even though we are fallen creatures, the attributes that God has placed within us as being made in His image are still recognizable. Justice is one of those attributes. We desire to see righteousness or right behavior rewarded and evil dealt with and punished. The difference is how our legal system functions versus how God justifies or condemns. In our system, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. In God’s system everyone is guilty and must receive punishment for their crimes. Many feel they will live the best they can and at the end of their lives they will stand before God and he will weigh out all the good and bad things they’ve done and as long as the scales tip in their favor (which most believe they will) then God will bless them with eternal life in heaven....we all fall short of the glory...
