JOB -OPPORTUNITY FOR FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FIELD In order to dedicatedly support our challenging Finance agenda, we are looking for qualified candidates for the position of Chief Financial Officer. Report to: General Manager, dotted line to CFO – VIMAPS BU Role: The CFO supports the Vietnam businesses (Foods Operating Company including VN, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia) in the creation and enhancement of shareholder value through the development and execution of business strategy, financial stewardship of company affairs, providing financial services to the front-line and driving Company values and culture. The CFO is the Subject Matter Expert for all finance matters. Accountabilities: 1. Provide support for business strategy development and execution • Support development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Business Plan and Capital Plan • Provide analytical/planning support in the development and delivery of performance targets • Ensure adequate funding to support business initiatives 2. Proactively lead Performance Management • Transfer benchmarks/Best Practice Tools to MU • Track performance of Businesses against targets and develop action plans for plan delivery • Clearly articulate operating performance in reporting and forecasts to BU/Region management • Recommend contingency plans 3. Provide financial services to the front-line • Analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of A&M spending • Support commercial initiatives with financial analysis to drive cost improvement/efficiencies • Prepare capital investment analysis • Drive continuous improvement in delivery of financial services 4. Provide financial stewardship of assets and operations • Drive/support productivity, revenue management and cash flow improvement initiatives • Safeguard company assets with prudent balance sheet management • Satisfy all legal, tax accounting, corporate governance requirements • Establish strong internal control environment 5. Strengthen and leverage the organization • Staff, onboard, train and retain high caliber MU Finance talent • Clarify roles, set performance standards and goals, and coach staff around the core work • Role model Company Values and create a motivating and rewarding work environment • Implement PEP performance/development plans • Work on own performance/development objectives Candidate’s Speifications: • Graduate of Accounting, preferably a CPA; Master’s Degree in a business-related discipline is desirable • At least 10 years of proven Finance experience in an FMCG • Experience in strategy development and implementation • Familiarity with Information management systems • Fluency in English language • Multicultural exposure • Good understanding of franchise business is desirable • Can blend Control/Planning and field Finance
