JOB ALERT - Contract Program Assistant - Marshall, NC Job Title: Contract Program Assistant Minimum Age Required: 21 # of Openings: 1 Position Status: Full-Time # of Hours Per Week: 40 Days of Work: M-F, with some events on evenings/weekends Work Hours/Shift: Usually 8:00am-5pm Job Description/Summary: The Program Assistant is responsible for providing support and assistance to the coordinators of the Triple P Program and the Innovative Approaches Initiative in Madison County. Responsibilities include scheduling, community outreach, administrative duties, and program evaluation. Please see job description for more information. Skills & Experience Required: 1. Excellent customer service skills; superior verbal and written communications skills 2. Analytical and problem solving skills 3. Punctual and dependable 4. Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and excellent organizational skills 5. Ability to anticipate planning details for upcoming events or meetings 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Word, and Outlook 7. Ability to be flexible in a changing environment 8. Ability to analyze various data sets and provide recommendations based on outcomes 9. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of individuals and organizations 10. Knowledge of program evaluation tools, measures, and analysis 11. General knowledge of the functions of community health agencies. 12. General knowledge of methods and techniques used in preparing and disseminating educational information to the public. 13. General knowledge of the techniques invoiced in preparing and displaying posters, exhibits and other educational visual aids. Education/Degrees Required: Graduation from a four-year college or university and 1 year of experience in community programs; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Proven experience in analysis and evaluation of programs is required.
