Our staff of Executives, Engineers, Project Managers, Technicians, and Installers are dedicated to the installation, integration and service of automated HVAC mechanical systems and other building systems that provide building operations staff with a user friendly graphical interface to the facility using Internet Explorer from any computer. Job Description Service Technician – Requirements for the Service Technician levels I, II, III include the ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC systems and to commission new and existing mechanical and control system installations to ensure occupant comfort and reduce the energy used by facilities. This position will be handling field service calls, review system installations and provide on site and remote diagnostics to verify that the facility HVAC and Building Automation System is operational to the design specifications and client requests. Prior experience in HVAC mechanical systems and Building Automation, with technical repair or troubleshooting of HVAC systems and control systems is necessary to be at the top of the pay scale; however, individuals with experience in commercial HVAC building systems that can be a Senior Service Technician after some additional experience may apply for this position. Job Description and Responsibilities: Service Technicians are involved in some the following activities depending on the position. Technicians must understand and be able to complete assigned tasks given to them by the Dispatcher or Department Manager. Applicants must show HVAC and control system experience and will be tested on their knowledge. Below are examples of experience our technicians have. Knowledge of all examples is not necessary for position; however, experience in some of the areas is required. Commercial HVAC systems and control theory (example how a VAV AHU works) Sensor and device operation evaluation and calibration and replacement Controller evaluation, replacement and re-programming Network communication troubleshooting and repair. Air and water systems balance Remote system diagnostics Energy efficiency evaluations Resolve customer complaints as an on-call responder. Effectively communicates progress, issues and status to dispatcher and management as required.
