City of Lake Geneva Police Department Part time/Seasonal Police Officer The City of Lake Geneva Police Department is hiring Limited Time Employees working 32 hours a week and Seasonal Part-Time Employees. Both require weekends and weeknights starting in May 2015. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This position requires general law enforcement and crime prevention duties. The position may include patrol by foot, bicycle, motorcycle (if endorsed) and patrol car. QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Citizen; Minimum age – 21; Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License; Good driving record; Good physical condition; Eligibility for Wisconsin law Enforcement Standards Board Certification by May 01, 2015; High school diploma; 60 college credits; Ability to possess a firearm; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Vision correctable to 20/20; Good verbal and written communications skills; Able to react quickly and effectively to stressful situations. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment; Able to maintain self-control; Honest, responsible, trustworthy. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT INCLUDE: Written exam; Oral interviews; Psychological profile; Medical examination; Vision examination; Drug screening; Physical fitness/agility screening; Thorough background check.
