JOB DESCRIPTION ________________________________________ Sales Representative - Educational Sales Consultant ________________________________________ The IMM GSM, a 71 year old independent specialist in Marketing Higher Education, is seeking an intelligent motivated self-starter and organized person for a sales position based in Lusaka, Zambia. Candidate must possess an Undergraduate Diploma or more, and should be proficient in using a laptop computer and mobile devices. Sales and business travel experience is preferred. Educational experience is considered a plus. You must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable motor vehicle. We offer a competitive target orientated salary, commissions, and complete travel expenses. Objective: Position Summary: This position focuses on driving revenue and sales for IMM GSM in terms of new student registrations and renewal students. Primarily it will be New Business Development, School and Career Expo visits, Social Media Selling, Daily lead follow—ups and engagement with prospective students. The position also requires an eye for administrative detail as registration processing will be a key element of the position. Responsibilities • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers over e-mail and by phone. • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process. • Meet sales goals on a consistent basis. • Help to design and implement new and creative sales strategies. • Understand and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends. • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers. • Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings. • Promote the IMM GSM at educational technology conferences nationwide. Qualifications and Skills • Undergraduate Diploma in marketing or sales. • 3 – 5 years of experience in sales • Experience in educational sales and/or a related educational field a plus. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines. • Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals. • Passion for Marketing and Sales. • Familiarity with Web-based technologies and Social Media. **A Cover Letter is required along with Resume.** Kindly email you resume and cover letter to [email protected] We look forward to engaging with our prospects!
