JOB: Graduate Merchandising Scheme - John Lewis As a Merchandiser you’ll make sure that still means a profit for us… managing stock to meet financial targets such as sales, profit and stock turn. It’s a careful juggling act and one we’ve invested in, by installing the latest merchandising systems. It shows we’re investing in your career too. You’ll balance hands-on experience with training and development. From day one as a Merchandising Assistant, you’ll manage over £250k of stock a week. You’ll then move offices to accelerate your learning and gain the skills needed to be a qualified Merchandiser – it takes anywhere between three and five years. Maximising profit across our vast array of product lines takes strategic thinking, agility, numeracy, planning, lots of analysis and a passion for retail and trading. You’ll also need a degree, in any subject, equivalent to a BA, BSc or higher at a 2:1 or above, plus GCSE Maths and English grade B or above, or equivalent. Salary £26,500, closing date for applications 3rd December 2014 - full details at targetjobs.co.uk/employer-hubs/john-lewis-partnership/414674-graduate-merchandising-scheme
