JOB OPENING!!! COURT PROGRAM SPECIALIST I – Unified Family Court (State-funded) 9982 Administrative Office of the Courts Sixth Judicial Circuit Description of Work: This is responsible paraprofessional work assisting in the administration of a Unified Family Court case management system. Working contacts are established with judges assigned to the Unified Family Court Division, family members involved in proceedings assigned to a family division, other courts system personnel, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, social and community service agencies, and other members of the public. The purpose of these contacts is to assist in screening, coordinating, monitoring, and improving the handling of unified family law cases. This position will also be responsible for providing information upon request regarding community or social service providers in order to link families in the Unified Family Division to appropriate services. Work is performed under stressful conditions and involves contact with individuals involved in emotional situations. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Unified Family Court Manager. Minimum Training and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Public or Business Administration, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology or closely related field and two years of case management experience or experience processing and maintaining administrative records. Progressively responsible experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college training.
