JOB POSTING ALERT: Ellerbes Alterations & Boutique – Charlotte, NC Experienced Alterations Specialist Alterations Specialists are responsible for: *Completing all alterations on time to insure delivery or readiness for pick up by customer by expected date * Performing customer fittings by determining the needs of the garment on the customer and taking note of customer requests. *Alterations on all customer garments brought in for alterations. *Providing a polished, pressed finish to all goods to insure that garments are ready to wear at the time of pick up *Communicate effectively with customer to insure a mutual understanding of their needs and the work to be completed. *Attention to detail, in quality and efficiency of production of alteration services are of the utmost importance. *Demonstrate the ability to take measurements and adjust alterations to insure garment fit is appropriate. *Communicating professionally *Demonstrate the ability to sew garments by hand and by sewing machine.
